Introduction & Historical Overview
The Kutiyana Memon Association (KMA) has been rendering monumental services in the field of education for more than 50 years. At present, four schools and a degree college function across six academic sections, accommodating approximately 6,500 students.
The educational initiative was set up primarily to cater to the educational needs of Pakistani children, especially from low-income families. The managing committee established a broad-based educational facility providing comprehensive modern education in the light of Islamic dictates.
The Period of Nationalization & Restoration
In 1972, the schools and colleges were subjected to state nationalization. This brought a decline in standards nationally. After thirteen years under state control, the institutions were handed back to the original sponsors, requiring tireless and dedicated efforts from community leaders, philanthropists, and educators to revitalize the infrastructure and rebuild academic standards.
Today, KMA Education Board stands as an icon of resilience, educational empowerment, and moral integrity.
